Rubber Pads are primarly designed to protect sealed surfaces such as roads from damage caused by steel grouser plate. They also have the added benift of improved comfort by reducing vibration and noise.
HXRT Chain-On pads, also refered to as road liners bolt directly to the steel chain, removing the need for a grouser plate and creating a simple way to replace shoes when required.
